Welcome to PBwiki 2.0!

Welcome to the "Online Classroom" of:

Michael Gibbons

Black Hills High School

Tumwater, WA.

This Works page is for the students and parents who want to know what we did in class on any given day. It gives you access to our academic calendar, PowerPoint presentations of our daily activities, and hyperlinks to any handouts that may have been passed out.

I've divided the Wiki into folders for each class.

To access homework, handouts, and presentations, click on the class link below--this will redirect you to that class' page.

I also have other pages on this Wiki:

One of the best websites (by a teacher) I've seen for math.  The lessons and activities are endless - for all of our subjects and more.  Take 15 minutes to browse. You'll be impressed.  http://www.pleacher.com/mp/mlessons/mlessons.html

On a daily basis, I arrive on campus at 6:45 and leave by 2:40. The best time to meet me is either before school (classes start at 7:40) or during 5th period.

Sometimes students cannot always make it to class and the sequential nature of mathematics makes it challenging for these students to keep up on their studies. To help all students, I'm attempting to create an online "virtual" classroom.

The attached PowerPoint lessons will never duplicate the actual classroom experience. I simply hope when students have access to homework and the opportunity to view the lesson, they will come back having mastered some of the covered standards and know where they may need some additional support.

If you have any questions or problems, feel free to write or call my classroom.
